DHAKA: Bangladesh Bank is going to fix office hours for all banks from 9:30am to 4pm for the month of Ramadan.

Transaction hours will be between 9:30am and 2:30pm with a prayer break from 1:15pm to 1:30pm, said the central bank sources.

Banking services will remain off on Friday and Saturday.

The decision will be issued either on Wednesday afternoon or Thursday, they added.

For the month of holy Ramadan, the Supreme Court along with banks, insurance companies, Bangladesh Railway, post office and other such organizations are re-fixing their time-table.
