Inflation slips down in Oct

DHAKA: Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal on Thursday said the rate of the country’s inflation came down by 0.24 percent in October of the current fiscal.

The minister came up with the disclosure at a press conference at his ministry in the city.

He said, “The rate of point-to-point inflation has stood at 6.06 percent in the national level while it was 7.03 percent in the same period of the previous fiscal.

The inflation rate was at 6.68 percent in September of the current fiscal, he added.
