DSE, CSE witness down Wednesday

DHAKA: The prices of the most of shares both at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed a negative trend from the early hours of trading on Wednesday.

DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, went down to 4,837.68 points at 2:30pm during the end while it was 4,878.65 points at 10:30am.

AGNISYSL topped the turnover list with shares worth TK 107.97 million having changed hands, after the trading.

The other turnover leaders of the major bourse were WMSHIPYARD, FUWANGFOOD, LAFSURCEML, SQURPHARMA, SAPORTL, TUNGHAI, GP, RAKCERAMIC and JAMUNAOIL.

On the other hand, the port city bourse also saw a negative trend round the day beyond rising several times.

CSE’s selective category index, CSCX, was in 1,097.90 points in the morning and 1,087.75 points in the afternoon.
