DHAKA: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) on Tuesday approved 10 new and one amended projects involving Tk 7,017 crore.

The approval came from the ECNEC meeting held at the NEC Conference Room in the city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar with its Chairperson Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

After the meeting, Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal made the disclosure while talking to reporters.

Sources said, of the projects expenditure, the government would finance Tk 2,176 crore, Tk 4,817 crore will come from project aid and Tk 24 crore from donor agency.
