Stocks end lower Sunday

DHAKA: Country's stock market marked fall again in its price indices on Sunday.

DSEX, the broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, shed over 10 points only to stand at 4,841 at the close on the first trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 82,424 with volume of transactions at Tk 2646 million.

Of the issues traded, 139 advanced, 131 declined and 40 remained unchanged.

BEXIMCO topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 112 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were IFADAUTOS, CVOPRL, GP, AGNISYSL, AAMRATECH, NFML, BXPHARMA, MJLBD and RAKCERAMIC.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing down to 8967 by dropping over 12 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 104 gained, 115 declined and 24 remained unchanged.
