DHAKA: Bangladesh Bank (BB) has the authorities concerned to provide loans to physically challenged people from its Refinancing Fund.

SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) department of the central bank issued a notification in this connection on Wednesday.

The notification said that all the physically challenged people, including those of vision disabled, have to be provided loan in SME sector with a 10 percent interest rate from the Refinancing Fund of the Bangladesh Bank.

It also said that the loan can be provided from the lowest limit of Tk 10,000 to Tk 500,000 at best.
