DHAKA: Trading on the country’s two bourses is underway showing gain in share-price indices on Tuesday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 33 points to stand at 4,054 at 10:52 am.

Trade deals stood at 15,006 with transaction at Tk 616 million.

Of the issues traded, 161 advanced, 33 declined and 23 remained unchanged.

GENNEXT topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 39 million having changed hands during the time.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 7,860 by gaining over seven points at 10:44 am.

Out of the issues traded, 41 gained, 18 declined and five remained unchanged.
