ICCB Heritage Restaurant, the only concept restaurant in Dhaka with traditional Mughal food arrangements, celebrated its first anniversary at the International Convention City Bashundhara in the capital on Tuesday.
On the occasion of the anniversary, the restaurant has an ‘Unlimited Biryani Offer’ at a nominal price for the guests on every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday of the week for the next one month. Where guests can enjoy a variety of Mughal biryani as much as they like.
Speaking on the occasion, MM Jasim Uddin (COO, Brand & Marketing, ICCB and Sector A, Bashundhara Group) said, “We have received an unprecedented response since the launch of ICCB Heritage Restaurant.”
“Over the past year, we have been able to introduce Mughal cuisine and etiquette to the guests through the restaurant. We are hopeful that we will be able to continue this trend of success by bringing more variety of Mughal cuisine to our guests” he added.
Maynal Hossain Chowdhury, Adviser (Treasurer) of Bashundhara Group said, “Looking at the environment here, it seems that we have gone 250 years back. Coming here reminds us of our tradition. This heritage was born to keep the food environment right.
He further said, “Millions of people are living under the auspices of Bashundhara family, for which you will pray for this family.”
Capt (retd) Shaikh Ehsan Reza, Chief Human Resources Officer of Sector A, Bashundhara Group, said “We are celebrating the first founding anniversary. Overcoming many obstacles, ICCB Heritage Restaurant has taken its place along with other restaurants. Those who eat here once, will have to come again and again because of the taste of the food.”
Abdur Rahman, Head of Catering - ICCB, Saad Tanvir, Head of HR - BLPGL, SICL & BSEL-NSB Projects and ICCB and SM Monirul Islam Palash, GM Accounts and Finance – ICCB, discussed various aspects of the restaurant. Bashundhara Group and senior officials and employees of ICCB were present on the occasion.
The programme ended with cutting of anniversary cake.
ICCB Heritage Restaurant was established in June 21 last year. Every aspect of ICCB Heritage reflects Mughal culture. Along with authentic Mughlai cuisine, the interior is a massive attraction to guests.
ICCB Heritage Restaurant was situated inside the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) premises at Kuril Bishwa Road, next to 300 Feet Road at Purbachal Express Highway. There is a noise free natural environment where eyes will see nothing but greeneries all around.
