An Ideal School and College authorities have temporarily suspended its teacher for allegedly leaking question paper of a public examination.

Suspended Maksuda Akter is an assistant teacher of Social Science of Bangla medium (morning shift) of the school.

A letter issued by Principal Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter on Tuesday. 

A case has been filed with Mirpur Model Police Station under the Digital Security Act (DSA) against the teacher.

According to the letter, the order was issued for violating the job conditions and it will remain in force from Tuesday (September 14).

CID members on September 9 detained Maksuda from her Siddheswari residence.

On Tuesday, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Mohammad Jashim sent her to jail after hearing a petition filed by the investigation officer in favour of the investigation.

According to the police, the teacher was shown arrested in a case filed over the leakage of a public test exam in 2020.
