Primary schools have reopened across the country after around one month of closure.
Students were seen going to schools in the capital this morning.
On 17 July, all government primary schools under eight city corporation areas of the country were declared closed for an indefinite period amid unrest over students’ demonstrations.
The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education issued an order to resume academic activities at primary schools on Tuesday (Aug 13).
The ministry also instructed the Child Welfare Trust-managed primary schools and the Bureau of Non-formal Education’s learning centres across Bangladesh to reopen their educational institutions.
