Dhaka University has temporarily expelled 128 students in connection to violent incidents on campus during the anti-discrimination movement between July 15 and August 5.

Following the violent incidents, Dhaka University formed a fact-finding committee on October 8, led by Associate Professor Mafuzul Haque Supan of the Law Department. Other members included Acting Dean of the Law Faculty, Professor Dr. Mohammad Ikramul Haq, Professor Dr. Nadia Neowaz Rimi from the Management Department, and other faculty members.
