5-member probe body formed

DHAKA: A five-member probe committee was formed to investigate into the rumour of leakage of the question paper of Higher Secondary Certificate and equivalent examination.

Deputy Chief Information Officer of Ministry of Education Subodh Chandra Dhali told banglanews that Dhaka education board formed the committee on Thursday morning.

Dhaka Education Board Secretary Abdus Salam Hawladar was the convener of the five-member committee.

The others members of the committee are- Dhaka Education Board Inspector Shrikanta Kumar Chandra, School Inspector Shahedul Khabir Chawdhury, Senior System Analyst Manjurul Kabir and Deputy-Director (accounts) Fazli Elahi.

The committee has been asked to submit report in 15 working days.

The rumour of question paper leakage started spreading in Dhaka and other parts of the country soon after the exams began on April 3.

Later on Wednesday night, the exam for Thursday of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) under Dhaka Education Board was postponed for unavoidable circumstances.
