DHAKA: Results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published on Saturday.

Sources said that education minister Nurul Islam Nahid will formally hand over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at 10:00am on the day.

Later, these will be sent to the schools and the school authorities will publish the results at noon, sources added.

This year, a total of 1,432,727 students under 10 educational boards took part in the examinations from 27,489 institutions that began on February 9 and ended on March 20.
