DHAKA UNIVERSITY: Future of a country depends on the younger generation. They will lead the country in future. For that reason, they should be educated. Skilled leadership cannot get without education.

Dhaka University vice chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique told students on Monday at TSC at a reception program for newly admitted and also talented students of the university.

SAIC Institute of Medical Technology under Dhaka University organized the program presided over by its chairman Soheli Yasmin.

Dhaka University examination controller Mohammad Bahadul Haque Chowdhury, college inspector Dr Bimal Guha and the institute’s founder Abu Hasnat Mohammad Yahiya, among others, also spoke at the program as special guests.

The VC said that the youth should use their time properly to make them good citizens. No body can be successful in life without proper use of time.

They should use their talent in searching knowledge regularly. They should utilize the facilities provided by the institutions in exploring their talent.

Making aware the audience, the VC said that students who get admitted in Dhaka University are talented but for their lack of proper study many of them cannot pass the examinations. Even, some get involved in crimes.

So every student should be careful in using their talent in a right way, he added.

The program featured a reception for the newly admitted students, a distribution of crests for talented students and cultural function.
