RANGPUR: The authorities of Begum Rokeya University Rangpur (BRUR) have appointed ATM Emdadul Alam as an acting registrar.

The officials and staff of the university received him cordially.

Vice-chancellor of the university Dr AKM Nurun Nabi said the university has got an acting registrar to organize the administrative activities properly.

He also said, “We want to see the university in an international standard soon.”

Emadadul Alam was brought on deputation in the BRUR, he added.

The teachers and high officials of the university were also present at reception ceremony.
