DU ‘Ga’ unit admission test held

DHAKA UNIVERSITY: The admission test of ‘Ga’ unit under Business Studies Faculty of Dhaka University for the first year honours courses in Dhaka University (DU) for the academic sessions 2014-15 was held on Friday.

The one-hour-long test began at 10.00 am.

Some 50 students have fought against one seat to get admitted in Business Studies Faculty of Dhaka University under the academic session 2014-15.

A total of 49,976 students applied for 1170 seats under ‘Ga’ unit of the university this year.

Regarding over-all security measures, DU proctor AM Amzad told banglanews that flawless security measures were taken at campus and other centers to hold the admission test without any hazards.

Many area-based organizations were seen to help candidates to get their respective seat.

Earlier on Wednesday, the University authorities published the detailed seat plan for the admission test on its website only for candidates, not for all.

The candidates can find the seat plan by log in respective account on university’s website or via SMS service from mobile phone.

According to the previous announcement, the admission test of ‘Ka’ unit will be held on September 12, ‘Kha’ unit on September 19, ‘Ga’ unit on September 5, ‘Gha’ unit on September 26 and ‘Cha’ unit on September 13.

For results through sms, candidates will have to type: DURoll number and send it to 16321 from any mobile phone operator.
