DHAKA: The Education Convention, to be organized by the Socialist Students' Front (SSF), has been rescheduled to September 23 due to hartal on September 22.

The SSF central committee office secretary Shariful Chowdhury made the disclosure through a statement on Sunday afternoon.

The statement said the convention, which was scheduled to be held on September 22, has been rescheduled on the following day as 20-party alliance called a daylong hartal on September 22.

The SSF Education Convention will take place at Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) auditorium of Dhaka University in city.

The program will start at 10:00am and continue till 8:00pm on the day.

The interested teachers, students and guardians were asked to join the convention on Tuesday.
