DHAKA: Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) Tuesday published the circular of 35th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination to appoint some 1803 people against vacant post of different cadres.

The PSC published the circular in its website in this connection on Tuesday noon. 

Of the vacant posts, some 455 posts for general cadre, 484 for technical cadre, 829 for general education cadre and 35 will be appointed as special education cadres.

Of the general cadre, some 300 will be recruited in administration, 89 in police and 16 in foreign affairs service through the BCS, the circular added.

The form fill-up and fee submission process will start from September 30. 

According to the new amendment rules, this year’s preliminary examination will be taken on 200 marks which were 100 in previous years.

Unlike the previous years, this year examination time will be extended from one hour to 2 hours.

The application fee, which was Tk 500 in the previous year, has been fixed at Tk 700.
