BANGLADESH AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITY, MYMENSINGH: The 7th convocation of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) is set to be held on February 24 on the university campus in Mymensingh.

President Abdul Hamid, also the chancellor of the university, is expected to attend the program and hand over the certificates along with Chancellor's Gold Medal to the graduates following academic excellence in different categories, sources told banglanews.

Confirming the matter, BAU vice-chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Rafiqul Hoque said that the President and also the chancellor of the university Abdul Hamid has agreed to be there.

According to the university administration sources, students, who have completed their graduation between January to June 2013 and January to June 2014 apart from post graduation by January to June 2014 along with PHD from 2011, are eligible to attend the convocation.

They have also been asked to register through http://convocation.bau.edu.bd by January 21.
