DHAKA: Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Dakhil and SSC (Vocational) examinations scheduled for Sunday and Tuesday will now be held on February 28 and March 6.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid made the announcement at a press conference in his Hare Road residence in the city on Saturday noon.

The exams have been shifted due to the nationwide 72-hour hartal from Sunday called by BNP-led 20-party alliance, he added

The minister said, “Security of our students is more vital to the government than holding the examinations. So, we have decided to shift the examinations considering the security to the students during hartal.”
