DHAKA: Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid Friday said though Bangladesh not a rich country, its children are not poor at all in terms of education.

He said this while addressing a book distribution program at Government Laboratory School in city this morning marking ‘Textbook Festival 2016’.

Amid festivity, a total of 333,762,772-crore textbooks are being distributed among around 44,416,728-crore students from class-I to class-IX across the country on January 1.
