DHAKA: The construction work of Aviation University, country’s first of its kind, has been started to fulfill the massive demand of skilled human resource for tourism sector and international market.

Civil Aviation and Tourism ministry is implementing the project which was declared by minister Rashed Khan Menon a month ago.

Ministry sources said they called a meeting on Tuesday (June 28) to discuss the detail plan about the university and selected the place for establishment.

Rashed Khan Menon, Chief Marshal Abu Esrar, BBP, ndc, acsc and Civil Aviation chairman Air Vice-Marshal Ehsanul Gani Chowdhury and senior officials will attend the meeting.

Regarding the new university, the Civil Aviation and Tourism minister told banglanews that it would be a new public university, though the implementation is in the primary level.
