DHAKA: The government has directed all the educational institutions to arrange anti-militancy rally on September 3.

In an order on Wednesday (August 10), the education ministry said the rally will be attended by teachers, students, guardians, distinguished persons and imams.

The educational institutions will arrange anti-militancy rallies on September 3 at the educational institutions under education ministry and the chiefs of the institutions will take initiatives for the program.

The instruction further said that the rally will put emphasis on creating awareness against militancy and also discuss about the regular presence of the students.

Moreover, it will also discuss about crating education-friendly environment by increasing extracurricular activities including cultural programs, sports, scouting and Girls Guide movement.
