DHAKA: The Center for Archeological Studies (CAS) of University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) hosted a seminar on “New Insights on Mahasthan Archaeology and History” in the ULAB Auditorium on Monday (November 28).

The seminar was carried out by Eminent Archaeologist Dr. Jean-Francois Salles, Former director of French-Bangladesh Joint Venture Archaeological Excavations Project at Mahasthan, said a press release.

Ambassador of France in Bangladesh Madam Sophie Aubert was present in the seminar where ULAB Provost Professor Brian Shoesmith delivered the welcome speech.

The seminar concluded with vote of thanks by Professor Shahnaj Husne Jahan, Director of CAS in ULAB.

Heads of all departments, professors, faculty members and administration members were present at the seminar.
