DHAKA: Amid widespread outrage and reports of the question leakage in different examinations, Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Sunday (Dec 17) said that some teachers are involved in the evil business of question paper leaking.

Nahid was talking to the reporters at the conference room of his ministry in the secretariat, in the morning.

A high power team of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) sat in a meeting with the minister, aiming to initiate steps against the irregularities and corruption in the education ministry. ACC Commissioner Nasir Uddin was also present.

“We are being suggested about various measures to resist question leakage”, said Nahid.

“What is the use of sending the questions 30mins ahead of the test whereas the teacher him/herself is involved”, he said regarding a latest move to avoid the fraudulence.

The administration can’t feel safe after handing over questions to the teachers as some of the teachers are leaking those, added the minister.
