DHAKA: The results of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations will be published on Sunday (May 6).

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will hand over a copy of the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, at 10am.

Sources from the education ministry said that the results will formally be announced at a press briefing at the secretariat, at 1pm.

However, a total of 2,031,899 students appeared in this year’s SSC and equivalent examinations that began across the country on February 1 and ended on February 26. The practical exams continued till March 4.
