DHAKA: The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations 2018 were published Thursday (July 19) with an average pass percentage of 66.64.

A total of 29,262 students scored GPA 5 among around 13,11,457 appeared in the exams. 

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally at Ganabhaban around 10am. Chairmen of all the Education Boards accompanied the minister.

Nurul Islam Nahid will formally publish the results through a press conference at the secretariat, at 01:00pm.

The results would be available at all examination centres, websites of education boards and through mobile phone short message services (SMS).
