JAGANNATH UNIVERSITY:  A student of Jagannath University died of cancer at a private hospital in Satkhira on Friday (October 5).

Moklasur Rahman Nirob was a 9th batch student of the Department of Political Science at JnU.

Nirob had been battling with cancer for around 2 years. Primarily, he was treated at a hospital in India. After a brief recovery, he returned to his campus. However, he was again diagnosed with the cancer about 2 months ago, which doctors described as the last phase of the disease.

With financial assistance from his classmates, Nirob was shifted to a better private hospital, but he breathed his last at 11:22 am Friday, as confirmed by Nirob's father.
