DHAKA UNIVERSITY: The authorities of Dhaka University have decided to retake the admission test of "Gha" unit for the qualifiers over allegations of the question paper leaks.

Following a DU Dean committee meeting, University Teachers Association president Professor Dr ASM Maksud Kamal confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Tuesday (October 23).

More than 18000 qualifiers will sit for the test. The schedule of the test will be announced on October 24, Kamal said.

The entry test for ‘Gha’ unit of DU for the academic session 2018-19 was held on October 12. Following the exam, allegations surfaced over question paper leak.

The entry test result was published with 26.21 percent pass rate on October 16.

On October 18, a Supreme Court lawyer served a legal notice to Dhaka University authority seeking cancellation of the ‘Gha’ unit admission test result.
