DHAKA: The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations started throughout the country Thursday (Nov 1).

This year, a total of 26,70,333 students from 29, 677 educational institutions are sitting for the examinations at 2,903 centers.

The education ministry directed the examinees to present at the centers 25 minutes before the examination starts. Using mobile phone, smartwatch, digital pen and any digital device within 200 metres of the exam centres has been banned.

The examinations will end on November 15.
