DHAKA: Students of 107 educational institutes under five boards failed to pass this year's SSC and equivalent examinations.

One institution under Rajshahi Board, one under Jashore Board, two under Barishal Board, one under Dinajpur Board and 43 under Technical Board have zero pass rate.

The number of institutions with zero pass rate was 109 last year.

Action will be taken through launching investigation on the institutions, said Education Minister Dipu Moni as the results published Monday (May 6).

However, 82.20 percent students pass SSC and its equivalent examinations this year and a total of 1,05,594 scored GPA-5.
