DHAKA: Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) held a daylong job fair for its students and graduates on its Bashundhara campus in the city on Monday (June 17).

The inauguration program held at 10.00 am at IUB auditorium where Pro-VC, Board of Trustees, Faculties and students of the varsity were present. 

Around 46 companies including Bashundhara Group, the largest industrial and business conglomerate of Bangladesh, BAT, Grameen Phone, Banglalink, and Square Pharma participated in the event titled “IUB Job Fair-2019”. 

Captain Shaikh Ehsan Reza, CHRO, Sector-A, Bashundhara Group, graced the inaugural program as a special guest, said a press release.

In his speech, he said that “Bashundhara Group is working for the people and for the country. We are creating new concerns around the country to play a strong role in country’s economic growth and reduce unemployment rate as well as poverty”.

“Bashundhara Group always encourage fresh graduates to work for the betterment of the company. In future, we will create more opportunities for fresh graduates and introduce on campus recruitment to help freshers,” he added.
