JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY: At least 20 students and policemen sustained injuries in a clash erupted over a trifling matter between students of two dormitories in Jahangirnagar University (JU) Wednesday (July 3).

Witnesses said residents of Mowlana Bhashani Hall and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Hall engaged in clashes in phases following a scuffling in Bot Tola of the campus.

JU Proctor ASM Firoz Ul Hasan told Banglanwews that police have been deployed on the campus to return normalcy.
