DHAKA: Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) published the 40th BCS preliminary examination result on Thursday (July 25).

A total of 20,277 candidates have passed the preliminary test who will take part in the written part of the examination, PSC Chairman Mohammad Sadik told Banglanews.

The preliminary tests of the 40th Bangladesh Civil Service examination were held on 3 May.

A total of 412,532 candidates registered themselves to sit for the 40th BCS exam while some 327,525 candidates attended, according to BPSC. 

The test results can be found on the PSC website (www.bpsc.gov.bd) and by SMS on the mobile phone.
