The online lottery for admissions to Class I to IX at government high schools across the country has been held today.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni has inaugurated the lottery at International Mother Language Institute in the capital this evening.

A total of 5,74,929 students submitted their applications this year against 77,140 seats at the 390 government schools across the country.

The list of students for admission in government schools can be found at http://gsa.teletalk.com.bd, said MA Khair, Public Relations Officer, Ministry of Education.

According to the ministry, the school admissions for the academic session have been based on lottery and the application process is being done online to avoid health risks amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
