Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations of 2021 will begin across the country tomorrow (December 2).

About 13,99,690 examinees will sit for the exams under 11 educational boards. Of them, 7,29,738 are boys and 6,69,952 are girls.

Exams under madrasa and technical education boards will also begin tomorrow but will end on December 19 and December 8 respectively.

The government had to defer this year's HSC and equivalent examinations due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Otherwise, HSC and its equivalent exams are usually held in April.

Last year, results of HSC examinees were determined on the basis of their previous SSC and JSC results.
