The public Service Commission (PSC) today (March 30) published the final results of the 40th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations, recommending 1,963 applicants for appointment to government jobs.

On September 11, 2018, the PSC issued the advertisement of the 40th BCS to absorb a total of 1,903 cadre officers in various government posts.

A total of 10,964 candidates passed the written test, held in January last year.

According to the cadre, 200 people will be recruited in administration, 72 in police, 25 in foreign, 24 in tax, 32 in customs and excise and about 800 in education cadre.
