Monir Khan’s new song on flood released

Renowned singer Monir Khan’s new song titled “Bonnay Manush Kede Kede More” has been released.

Based on the flood affected people, the song was written by lyricist Amirul Islam and composed by Golam Sarwar. The song was published on Monir Khan’s own music channel MK Music24.

Monir Khan said, “In 2007 Alom Ara Minu, Farjana Mili, Golam Sarwar and I sang the song in unison for the first time.”

“Recently I went to Begumganj of Noakhali, saw the distress of the flood-stricken people with my own eyes and found exact similarities with this lyric. So I soloed the song anew and presented it to you. Listen to the song. I hope everybody will like it," he said.

Lyricist Amirul said, “The lyrics of this song depict endless sorrow, suffering, hunger, death, cries and wails of the people spoiled by the cataclysm. The song makes a humanitarian appeal to the people of all strata to stand by the mankind swept away by the inundation and extend helping hands to them.”

“The lyrics will touch the heart of the audience,” he added.

He offered heartiest thanks to the songster for lending his voice to the song freshly.

Music director Golam Sarwar opines that this is such a song that tells of life.

“I will feel blessed if I can do something for the flood victims with this song,” he said.
