Singer Moni Kishore was found dead at his home in the capital’s Rampura area on Saturday night (October 19).

According to police, the popular singer from the 90s, died a couple of days ago. 

However, the reason behind the death could not be confirmed instantly.

The victim’s flat was found locked from inside. Smelling a bad odor, neighbors called emergency service 999. Later, police recovered the body.

Confirming the matter, Rampura police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ataur Rahman Akan said the body was sent to the hospital for autopsy.
