DHAKA: Country’s one of the largest news portals banglanews24.con on Sunday published a music video titled ‘Bangladesh’ to uphold the spirit of cricket world cup and inspire the national team and their fans as well.

Popular singers Arfin Rumey and Kornia sang the song in the music video that was released at a ceremony held at the conference room of East-West Media Centre in city’s Bashundhara Residential Area.

The song, penned by banglanews Special Correspondent and also Head of Binodon Jony Haque and composed by Arfin Rumey, has made a depiction of the nation’s dreams and desires regarding the world cup.

Popular actors Mosharraf Karim, Nusrat Imroz Tisha, Anisur Rahman Milon and Apu Biswas, among others, performed in the music video made by Muhammad Mustafa Kamal Raj.

Regarding the initiative, banglanews Editor-in-Chief Alamgir Hossain said, “The nation dreams that the national cricket team will win the world cup.” “We have taken the initiatives to inspire the team as the world cup program is knocking the door,” he said.

Thanking Arfin Rumey, Kornia, Mohammad Mustafa Kamal Raj and others involved in the initiative, the editor-in-chief expressed hope that the music video would be enjoyable to the audience.

Rumey said that he has enjoyed a lot in composing the music piece. He has mingled the Western features with local tunes in the song keeping the youth at home and abroad in mind.

Kornia commented that she was very enthusiastic about the initiative as it was her maiden work with Rumey. It has also fulfilled her wish to work under the direction of Raj, she added.

The singer also expressed hope that the audience would enjoy the music piece.

Terming cricket a national pride, Raj hoped that the music video will enhance the cricket craze in Bangladesh.
