The 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival opens on Tuesday (May 17). The festival will be screening trailer of the movie 'Mujib: The Shape of a Nation' based on the biography of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The trailer of the movie will be released on May 19 at the Cannes Film Festival.

Arifin Shuvo, who played the role of Bangabandhu in this movie, has shared pictures on social platform Facebook. The actor has already flown to France for the trailer launch. However, this is Shuvo's first Cannes visit.

Nusrat Imroz Tisha will also be present at the screening of the trailer. She will leave for Cannes on Tuesday night (May 17). Tisha has played the role of Bangabandhu's wife Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib.

The biography of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman ‘Mujib: The Shape of a Nation’ is directed by Indian director Shyam Benegal.

Riaz Ahmed played the role of Tajuddin Ahmed, apart from that Nusrat Faria, Chanchal Chowdhury, Dilara Zaman, Siam Ahmed, Khairul Alam Sabuj, Ferdous Ahmed, Prarthana Fardin Dighi, Raisul Islam Asad, Gazi Rakayet, Taukir Ahmed, Misha Saudagar, Zayed Khan and hundreds of other artists played role in the movie.
