Bangladesh reported 21 fresh cases of Covid-19 in 24 hours till Tuesday (June 4) morning, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
With the new numbers, the country's total fatalities rose to 29,495 and caseload to 20,50,570, said the DGHS.
The DGHS disclosed the update on the country’s coronavirus situation by issuing a press release this afternoon.
A total of 361 samples were tested across the country for a positivity rate of 5.79 percent.
According to the release, the total number of recoveries till today reached 4,23,729.
Bangladesh reported its first Coronavirus case on March 8, 2020, while its first death was on March 18 that year.
