SYLHET: Nurses of the Sylhet M.A.G. Osmani Medical College Hospital (MAGO MCH) went on work abstention from Monday noon protesting an assault of fellow by intern doctors. 

The announcement came from a human chain at 12:45pm in front of the hospital. 

Earlier of the day, the intern doctors attacked a nurse of the hospital.

Sources said that intern doctor Jony locked into altercation with Proloy, a third year student of BSC Nursing department, around 12:30am centering giving treatment. 

Meanwhile, inter doctors beat up the nurse, leaving him critically injured.

Following the incident, intern doctors and nurses of the hospital came to confrontation. 

Later, Kotwali Thana Sub-Inspector Abdur Rakib rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control. 

Assistant Director of the hospital Tanmoy Bhattacharya confirmed the matter to banglanews.
