DHAKA: We all have some unhealthy habits, but it's never too late to start living healthily, reports The Times of India.

Never apply sunscreen: In a country like India or Bangladesh, not applying sunscreen is a huge mistake. Exposure to harmful sun rays may not immediately show its effect, but give it some time and you'll soon notice the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.

Treat these by applying a moisturizer that contains antioxidants like vitamins A, C and E, which reduce the signs of skin damage. This will also hydrate your skin and make it healthy.

Incorrect posture: Pay attention to the way you walk, sit and stand. Avoid slouching while sitting, hunching while standing and dragging your feet while walking. Correcting your posture will make sure that you don't suffer from backache and poor balance as you age. Yoga is an excellent way to improve your posture.

Never exercised: Procrastinating exercising by giving yourself excuses? If you've avoided exercising for a long time, it's time you reversed that habit. And especially if you have a job that requires you to spend hours sitting in front of a computer screen. Studies reveal that sitting for long periods increases your risk of heart disease and diabetes. Start with moderate exercise — 20 minutes a week and gradually increase the pace. Staying active will ensure good health.

Binge drinking: How many times have you gone on binge drinking sprees, thinking it is OK to go all out since you don't do it regularly? Binge drinking is as harmful as regular drinking because the detrimental effect on your liver is the same.
