DHAKA: Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) is set to feed around four lakh children vitamin A capsule under National Vitamin A+ Campaign.

The decision was disclosed at a journalist orientation program at DSCC Nagar Bhaban Tuesday (June 18).

Children aged from six months to five years will be fed the capsules.

National Nutrition Services (NNS) Line Director Dr SM Mustafizur Rahman placed the proposal of vitamin campaign, at the program presided over by DSCC Health Officer Brig Gen Dr Sharif Ahmed. 

As many as 2,974 volunteers and 112 supervisors will be employed at 1,487 centers under DSCC to feed the children the capsules.
