Bangladesh today confirmed 18 more deaths from coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the last 24 hours, raising the death toll to 5,699.
 
According to the Health authorities, 1,380 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours raising the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 391,586.

The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has made the update of the country’s coronavirus situation issuing a press release this afternoon.

As 1,542 patients have recovered in last 24 hours, the number of total recoveries reached 307,141, it also said.

A total of 21,92,325 samples have been tested so far as 13,611 samples tested in 110 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country in last 24 hours, the release added.

Bangladesh reported its first croronaviurs case on March 8 while first death on March 18.
