Dengue: 17 hospitalised in Dhaka in last 24 hours

The country reported 17 fresh dengue cases in last 24 hours till Tuesday morning (June 7), said the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the 24 hours, the seventeen new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, said the DGHS release.

However, one dengue patients admitted outside the capital.

Some 463 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue till June 7 while 388 patients returned home after recovery since January 1.

However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered in last year. A total of 105 died from the mosquito-borne disease during that time.
