One more dengue patient died and 524 people were hospitalised with the mosquito-borne disease across the country in the last 24 hours Wednesday (Sep 28).

In the 24 hours, 373 new dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in Dhaka, said the DGHS release.

However, 151 dengue patients were admitted outside the capital.

According to DGHS, 1,338 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals of Dhaka while 432 other patients are being treated in hospitals outside Dhaka.

Some 15,346 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue till today while 13,471 patients returned home after recovery since January 1.

However, this year a total 55 died from the mosquito-borne viral disease in Bangladesh till today. 

However, 28,429 patients were admitted to different hospitals with dengue while 28,265 patients recovered in last year. A total of 105 died from the mosquito-borne disease during that time.
