DHAKA: Two of the European teams investigating the reasons for Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat’s death have already submitted their results to a special Palestinian committee in Geneva.

Official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported on Tuesday, The Jerusalem Post publishes this report on Wednesday.

The Swiss team submitted its results on November 5, while the Russian team submitted its results on November 2.

The Palestine authorities are waiting for the results of the French forensic experts’ probe before releasing the findings.

Arafat died on November 11, 2004 at a French military hospital outside of Paris.

The cause of his death has remained a mystery and many theories were raised on the topic, including accusations he was poisoned by Israel.

His body was exhumed on November 27, 2012 by the three teams.
