DHAKA: UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon addressed on Tuesday the mass memorial service of former South African president Nelson Mandela.

He acknowledged the loss of ‘one of the greatest leaders of our time’.

‘South Africa has lost a hero, a father,’ Ban said commemorating the celebrated leader, reports The Jerusalem Post.
